If you get a chance to go to one of his parties he’s hosting, go; I heard it’s loads of fun.

We felt bad for P-Nasty when he lost out to Kendra, who can’t even remember her lyrics. Oh well, that’s was just one of the many things that P-Rez will be doing. We anticipate seeing a lot more of him in the future.

It was hard to put your finger on what exactly had changed about her
with her new short hair. Those extensions covered a lot.

This should be interesting. Michael Jackson is working with Kanye West, will.i.am, and Ne-Yo on a new edgy, up-tempo L.P.

Michael, who is 49, may be the most talented artist of all time. Before he became a freakshow, he once was a successful recording artist and an incredible dancer.

Kanye is such a mouthy bast**d, I can’t wait to hear about some of the fits and cat-fights that may rage in the studio. Get the Jesus juice ready, this is going to be good!

Although Kanye acts like a small child, he’s actually quite a success in his own right and says this about working with pop-phenomenon MJ, “If I like a person’s outlet or what a person brings to the table, then I’ll speak to them.” Oh lucky, lucky Michael; Kanye likes his “outlet”. Michael’s probably thinking, “finally, someone!”

Will.i.am on the contrary, didn’t want to speak to Michael.  He confesses that he actually hung up on Michael when he first called him, because he thought it was a hoax. “I was like, ‘Come on, who is this, how did you get me number? Stop playing around.’ He said, ‘No it’s really me, it’s Michael.’ “I still didn’t believe it was him and was like, ‘Dude, seriously, I got to go.’ “

Kid Rock talks about his public brawl at the MTV Awards with Motley Crew drummer, Tommy Lee. Both men were once married to Pamela Anderson. Kid Rock says Tommy Lee remained a “menace” throughout his 4 month marriage to Pamela Anderson and that he feels MTV used the three of them for sensationalism at the MTV VMA Awards show in September.

MTV wouldn’t do that!

After a long and successful recording deal with Warner Bros., Madonna is severing ties with her record label and signing a landmark 120-million-dollar deal with concert promoter Live Nation.

She has been recording with Warner since she was 24, when her self-titled album debuted. Now, at age 49, she’s still making pop records and Live Nation is banking on 10 more years.

As the traditional music recording model suffers from the general creation of the Internet and it’s spawns forming new ways to entertain us, they are losing their hold on both the consumer and the artists. Artists are freeing themselves from, what was once, a much needed tool for recording and promotion. Now artists can record themselves without becoming slaves to their own talent.

A spin off of Clear Channel, Live Nation has built a sharp business model providing venue, artist management and promotion. The Wallstreet Journel reported, after first learning of Live Nation’s offer to Madonna, Warner Music sought to retain her by offering her a similar arrangement, partnering with IAC (the parent of TicketMaster) to attempt a similar counter offer.

Madonna has always been a trend-setter, so we expect to hear about many other artists jumping the sinking ships of the recording industry and making new deals with artist-friendly companies, like Live Nation.
