Absolutely one of my most favorite albums of 2006 was the debut of My Brightest Diamond, Bring Me The Workhorse. Shara Worden did her solo set all over SXSW 2008, but we seemed to have missed every show, afterall we’ve already seen both the solo set and more the compelling show with the band. She’s now released her follow-up, self-produced album A Thousand Shark’s Teeth, due out June 17, 2008.
The opening track “Inside A Boy” starts out very similar to “Golden Star”, similar guitar sound and her signature tinkling of various instruments, it may even be a bit on the heavy side. This just might be rock!
