American Idol Contestant Found Dead

A once American Idol contestant, Paula Godspeed on Season 5, was found dead outside of the L.A. home of Paula Abdul, near Sherman Oaks.  Celeb website, TMZ reported that the 2006 contestant was discovered in her parked car yesterday.  Her death is believed to be a “possible suicide”, although the Los Angeles county coroner’s office has not, yet released official information.

The woman’s parents were aware of her obsession with American Idol judge, Paula Abdul and told police that she may be at Paula’s house, when she went missing.

Paula Abdul had been aware of the obsession for “several years”, Entertainment Tonight reported, and is said to be “shocked and saddened” by her death.

Simon’s Kiss Revealed

Mr Cowell looked visibly shocked by the call, wincing and holding his head in his hands in disbelief.

He said:

   “My god, we’re going back 17 years. This is really you Tara? This literally was my first kiss – this was my first crush.”

The star, 48, was further embarrassed when fellow judges Randy Jackson and Miss Abdul teasingly asked Miss McDonald-Smith if he was a good kisser.

The 46-year-old paused for some time before joking the incident had left her needing therapy.

It did not take long for Mr Cowell to turn his charm back on, however, asking the single mother, “Do you still look cute?”

A source close to Mr Cowell told the Daily Mail: “He would love to meet up with Tara. He’s really glad she came forward and thinks it would be brilliant to catch up.”

Paula Abdul’s New Video Makes Simon Miserable

The American Idol team have cameo’s in the video and Simon was very unhappy about having to appear.

Jordin Sparks Set to Sing at the Super Bowl

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks will be singing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLII in Arizona, which is her hometown.

The Super Bowl will be held the University of Phoenix Stadium on February 3rd 2008, according to The Arizona Republic.

Clay Aiken Finding Sexy And Bringing It Back

I’m still shocked that this person performs for anyone other than himself in the mirror, but since the reality is that “Reality Shows”, make “Reality Stars”… here is the real Clay Aiken performing, Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack” (thanks D-listed) video on his summer tour. Clay is performing with an orchestra and is blowing minds by performing a medley of songs that one wouldn’t expect to hear with an orchestra. How very avant-garde of him.

Clay tells Houston’s Sun-Sentinel, “I’m actually going to do — God help me for saying this — with [the orchestra], a little bit of SexyBack. We’re going to do a little medley of songs that people wouldn’t expect to hear with an orchestra. I know that it’s not going to be cool. I have no problem making fun of myself. I could never pull songs like that off without knowing where my place is, and it’s not as Justin Timberlake. Thank God we have him. I’m happy to be the person who gets the old ladies covered.”

Clay Aiken not cool? No!! Yeah, I bet Clay Aiken is happy to have JT! I know I’m ready to bring sexy back now and I want a full refund!!
