I guess the Commish caught wind of Britney’s feelings for him, when she was heard publicly saying, in a Neiman Marcus department store, that he is “just an old fart”.  Brit also seems to think he’s “catty” with her.  Because the CA U.S. court has suspended Britney Spears’ visitation rights with her two young sons, until the pop star complies with all court orders. The court order offense in question is “a lack of providing contact information for random drug testing”.

Brit’s next shot at getting the kids is October 26, when she’s been ordered back to court.  By that time the parenting coach will have submitted her summary of Brit’s skills.  That should be a good read.

Updated: Hey this was not her fault after all, the excuse…. bad cell phone reception, thats right, she missed the random drug test call due to bad cell coverage.  Not to be confused with her prior excuse, “I didn’t hear the intercom”.

Kid Rock talks about his public brawl at the MTV Awards with Motley Crew drummer, Tommy Lee. Both men were once married to Pamela Anderson. Kid Rock says Tommy Lee remained a “menace” throughout his 4 month marriage to Pamela Anderson and that he feels MTV used the three of them for sensationalism at the MTV VMA Awards show in September.

MTV wouldn’t do that!

Britney Spears, the one that we see giggling and waving to the cameras at least 3 times a day. The one that calls paparazzi to snap her at Starbucks, drugstores, restaurants, cell phone stores, gas stations, Target, COULD NOT MAKE IT TO COURT TODAY FOR HER OWN EMERGENCY HEARING!

Britney called for an emergency hearing YESTERDAY, seeking expanded visitation rights, stating she wanted to spend some nights with her boys. Reportedly she did not make the 8:30 am appearance because she didn’t feel like wading through the crowd. “Crowd” meaning a self induced frenzy of people that flock to photograph her every move.

She is has lost her purpose. She has become a victim of her own identity.

She learned two very valuable lessons from Paris Hilton, when they were BFF’s for 4 days.

1) do not wear underpants.

2) call the paparazzi every time you leave the house and alert them of your destination.

She is talentless and confused about why and how she is famous.

To top if off she was seen out late last night, around 2 am in Marina del Rey.

You get one chance to pave the foundation that is your children’s lives. She’s not even trying.

Remember while Britney was filming her mess of a video “Gimme More” she broke down crying, leaving the crew standing around for hours waiting until she pulled her sh** back together? That was around the same time that she was cleaning up after her then new puppy, London and mopping up fried chicken with her Chanel dress during her big OK! Magazine interview.

Perhaps the rumored “uncut” version explains why tears hit the floor. Maybe she had some sort of conscience about getting topless, while her babies were home waiting for their mommy. Or maybe she was so pumped up on drugs that getting topless seemed like a good idea for a drowning music career.

Either way, judging by the above pic, it’s not pretty.

David Letterman had bitter Kid Rock on his show Monday night. He had this to advice to share with ex-wife, Pamela Anderson’s new husband, Rick Salomon.

Kid Rock was married to Pamela Anderson for just 4 short months. He recently told Howard Stern while on his radio show that he “loved getting married and hated being married”.

A mega-popstar loses out to a wannabe rapper!  Britney would probably do everything she could to beat out Kevin, if the two were battling for the number one spot, on the charts.  So why didn’t she follow L.A. Superior Court’s, Judge Gordon’s orders, when he laid down the law?  Britney was ordered to attend parenting classes, random drug tests, and to get a damn California drivers license, last week.  While Brit’s song “Gimme More” is finally topping charts, she’s losing the opportunity of a lifetime.  Poor Britney is so blinded by the flashing bulbs that she can’t see her own demise.  On Monday, the judge ordered that Brit turn over physical custody of her two boys, 2 yr. old Sean Preston and 1 yr. old Jayden James, to Kevin Federline.  I have to ask how a girl, that has the world at her disposal, manages to lose custody of her most valuable possessions?  To be young, healthy and one of the richest woman in the world seems like the perfect combination to offer your children the finest possible life.  The luxury of staying home with them, traveling with them, making their meals, reading stories, foreign language tutors, nutritionists to prepare menus, the best clothes, the softest sheets, swimming lessons, villas in Italy…… why? why?  Why not just retire from the spotlight and enjoy the experience of being a parent?  Moreover, how do you lose physical custody of your children to likes of a wannabe rapper, who’s only claim to fame, is YOU!?  While there is no replacement for the comfort of a mother, we can only hope that this was a wise decision on the judges part and Kevin will take the honor of raising their children seriously. Oh Britney, I beg thee to get it together!

Looks like after all of the hair, wardrobe and parenting mishaps, Britney may come back on top…. again! She has a new hit that dropped today and it’s not a parked car. “Gimme More”was produced by the same guy that churned out two monster albums last year. Nate ‘Danja’ Hills is a Timbaland protégé, that was introduced to Timbaland through a childhood friend in 2005, who produced Nelly Furtado’s successful comeback record, Loose and Justin Timberlake’s, uber successful SexyBack. See what you think, you can hear it here at Perez. It doesn’t have the dance pop that “Toxic” maintains, but it will for sure be a hit, especially after all the fanfare surrounding this mess the past year. She has been asked to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards, Sept. 9, but Timbaland, this years musical director for the event, thinks that her performance will overshadow the other performers. Timbaland tells E! Online that, “He thinks it would be too much drama, and that she is going to take away from the other performers.” It is rumored that she is to open the show in a vanishing act that would lead her in and out a series of mirrors, vanishing and reappearing. This is said to be the reasoning behind her late nights with Chris Angel. Okay that makes sense, but why the hell are so many other Hollywood starlets hanging out with this out-of-touch magic man? I wish he would make the silver rings, bandannas and pukka shells disappear! Now that’s a show I would watch. Chris Angel on What Not To Wear, but I digress. Back to Britney, no matter what she sings or wears, it was reported today that her monthly income is an average of $737,868, so can she really fail? She tries!

Canadian indie band Hot Hot Heat will be touring this summer to get ready for their new album, “Happiness LTD“, the follow-up to 2005’s “Elevator“. The album will be released on September 3. The band will open for Snow Patrol intermittently throughout their summer tour, which ends on September 22 in Seattle, WA.

The 4th Annual IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) is currently accepting entries. IAMA (International Acoustic Music Awards) promotes excellence in acoustic music performance and artistry. Acoustic artists in various genres can gain exciting radio and web exposure through this competition. Participating sponsors include D’Addario Strings, New Music Wekly, Loggins Promotion, Airplay Only, Superdups, Acoustic Cafe Radio Show and XM Satellite Radio.

IAMA is open to all independent artists and labels. Unlike other music industry competitions, IAMA focuses on developing new markets for Acoustic artists, labels and CD releases.

Win prizes in 8 different categories: Folk/Americana/Roots, AAA/Alternative, Instrumental, Open, Bluegrass/Country, Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Group/Duo. There will also be an Overall Grand Prize winner awarded to the top winner worth US$11,000, which includes radio promotion to over 250 radio stations in US and Canada!

Winning songs will be heard on radio! Winners and runner-ups will be featured on IAMA’s compilation CD.

Judging is based on excellence in music performance, songwriting/composition and originality. All entries submitted will receive judging sheets containing comments and ratings by e-mail.  This is open to any artist who has a CD independently released on a record label, distributed by a major or self released. Winners are selected by a panel of established artists and industry professionals. Juliette Commagere, Jared Smith, Joachim Cooder and Robert may still be strangers to you, but soon enough you just may come to know L.A.’s indie band that’s been generating a strong buzz and when you meet them you’ll say, “Hello Stranger”. Mike Elizondo, who has produced such albums as Fiona Apple’s second version of “Extraordinary Machine” and Maroon 5’s latest work; has stepped in on a few tracks. Elizondo has beeen known to offer a hit inducing vibe of familiarity to abstract work, thus the reason he was chosen for the revamp of Fiona’s album, Extraordinary Machine after she had worked with producer Jon Brion. Elizondo has also worked with Nelly Furtado, Eminem, 50 Cent, Alanis Morrissete and Pink. Legendary producer Ry Cooder, Joachim’s father, actually produced the album.
