More Brit! Okay, so far we love “Womanizer”, just after 2 or 3 listens we had the rhythm of syllables – which is the fun part of the song. I’m thinking this album is gonna be a good one, in a Britney Spears kind of way. Check out the second single “Kill The Lights” from her new Circus album, thank you Popbytes.

Thursday, November 6th, 2008Decemberists have a new album titled, Always The Bridesmaid: Vol. III A-side – here’s the “Raincoat Song”. It’s all starting to sound the same for us really, kind of like, when you’re a kid and you go into an antique shop and it all smells equally old and dusty. It’s hard to tell one time period from the next. They’ve driven the point, and we’d personally like to hear something fresh, maybe an addition of a more modern instrument?
If you’re a big Decemberists fan, you’ll love it, cause it’s got all the elements, without the evolution.

New Weezer and it’s a Hit

If you go check out Weezer’s website, you’ll hear “Pork and Beans” that’s streaming from their front page. The obvious first single is catchy and clearly will be a hit with the teen-something slacker skater types.
Their self-titled album, informally labeled “Red Album” is out June 24, 2008. This makes their third self-titled “Weezer” album out of six.
