Keith Urban is middle of promoting his new CD, fittingly titled, ‘Love, Pain & the Whole Crazy Thing’, but all has been postponed until he completes his treatment. It was rumored that his cocaine problems were worse than ever a few months ago and Nicole was going to leave him to escape further turmoil. Keith checked himself into rehab last night for drug issues and released this statement, “I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me.” “One can never let ones guard down on recovery and I’m afraid that I have. With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome.” The singer even pulling out of a planned appearance at the CMA Awards Nov. 6. Urban is nominated for four awards at the ceremony, including the top prize, Entertainer of the Year.
This is very sad. I wish them well. Poor Nicole deserves an easier time.
